Raqibah Basir, 64, claimed that at 5 pm on, December 10, she was pulling her laundry in a shopping cart and was crossing Third Avenue at East 183 Street, when she says she was sideswiped by an FDNY ambulance that was pulling out of St. Barnabas Hospital. When contacted by telephone at her home, Basir stated that she had suffered an asthma attack as well as internal injuries from the accident and doctors had not yet told her about her fractured shoulder.
